I am I said

Begs the question, just who AM I anyway, doesn't it?

"I am I said, to no one there, and no one heard  at all, not even the chair."  "I am I cried, I am said I, and I am lost and I can't even say why."  That's Neil Diamond's take on the matter.

"Remind me who I am"...for , "in the mirror, all I see is who I don't want to be."  Jason Gray

I AM..........

lonely--broken--lost--hurting--forgotten--sick--bad--old--ugly--depressed--weak--confused....

At the risk of being  verbose, I'll stop there, but...my heart is pedestrian, it is well traveled with all the above and my propensity is to continue with the list. Guessing if you have walked this earth long enough, you too could say the same.
Perhaps your the one left behind with the kids as your spouse travels with their career. Maybe you struggle with hopelessness through a loveless marriage, or terminal illness. Ever feel like you don't measure up?  Do you sit, midlife, kids gone, at a silent dinner table-- no conversation or connection remaining with your spouse? Are you forsaken by mother, father, family, friend? Are you widowed, divorced? Alone? Caught in the undercurrent of a financial  eddy?

I AM......

Tell them;
I AM that  I AM.
I AM with you always.
I AM The Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End, First and the Last.
I AM God, there is no other beside Me.
I AM The Way, the Truth and the Life.

There, now thats a better perspective!
With our  focus now on God verses the botulism of sins aftermath, we gain a better sense of who we are.
No wonder He commands us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. And how do we  transform our mind?  By setting our thoughts on things above and not on things here below. By believing the gospel message that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, perfect sacrifice for sins casualties, author and perfecter of our faith,  our eternal hope.

Who am I? If you are a Christ follower, than you are who God says you are.!

I am His.

I am precious in His sight...

                                                             IMAGINE

Imagine your every tear was accounted for, numbered and listed by scroll   (Ps. 56:8)
That your every prayer was like incense and kept in a golden bowl,   (Rev. 5:8, Ps. 141:2)

That thoughts of you outnumbered the sand   (Ps 139:17-18)
every hair on your head counted and planned,  (Matt. 10:30, Jeremiah 29:11)

And that the ONE who gave each star a name  (Ps. 147:4, Isaiah 40:26)
has summoned and called you just the same.  (Isaiah 43:1)

                                                   Imagine it true--
                                             for He careth for you!!!
                                                      (1 peter 5:7)
