Tired the Worm

crafted canyon's so deep
sculpted alps at your feet
why won't you move
why won't you speak

marrow and soul
sinew and bone
where is the mercy that
flows from your throne

weary of days
born for defeat
why won't you move
why won't you speak

broken broken
crippled and lame
isn't this why
you humbled and came

herald the news
echo, repeat
why won't you move
why won't you speak

tired the worm
from unanswered prayer
lifeless and limp
in the dirt of despair

we wait for you now
a miracle to meet
why won't you move
why won't you speak?

Dominion and awe belong to God; he establishes order in the weights of heaven...Upon whom does his light not rise?  If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes, how much less man, who is but a maggot--a son of man, who is only a worm!"
Job 25:6

Though he slay me, yet I will praise him.
Job 13:15

For the Lord does speak, now one way, now another--
though man may not perceive it.
Job 33:14
